The ocean is two hours away. Your training is ten minutes from the office — a pool in Midtown, ninety minutes, and a single breath. Indoors, year-round, on the Molchanovs system.
Train regularly
No complicated weekend trip required. Just show up and train on your schedule.
Year-round, indoors
Train through every season in warm indoor pools, with consistent coaching throughout the year.
Freediving in the city
NYC had everything except a dedicated freediving school. We are bringing the sport to the city.
The curriculum the world's best freedivers grew up on
Freediving NYC teaches the pool (Lap) and open water (Wave) pathways of the Molchanovs system — the same curriculum used by the sport's leading athletes, now offered in New York.
Lap and Wave certification ladder
The internationally recognized Molchanovs path from pool to open water. We teach pool skills and theory in NYC, and the open water skills on organized trips. The same curriculum used by elite freedivers worldwide.
Method, not improvisation
Breathing, equalization, relaxation and safety taught as one connected system.
